I’m so glad you stopped by!
Over the last few months, I’ve felt a growing conviction that the Lord was leading me to really focus my writing on resourcing families to build strong cultures of faith and community in their homes.
If you know me in real life, or you were following me on my other blog, you know that last year, my husband, Jason and I made the heartbreaking decision to close the church we planted. After our church plant closed, we had the privilege of sitting under the ministry of our dear friends Dalton and Sylvia while we rested, healed, and prayed about what to do next.
During one of the messages Dalton preached while we were there, he made a comment about the progression of the early church throughout the book of Acts.
In the beginning, the church grew through the salvation of multitudes, such as the crowd that Peter preached to on the day of Pentecost. But the church growth was sustained through the salvation of households (like those of Cornelius, Lydia, the Philippian jailer).
I cannot get this idea out of my head. I am still praying for widespread revival across our nation, but I am also beginning to pray for revival to be poured out into homes, starting with mine.
If we are growing to reach the next generation for Christ, faith must be prominent in our homes.
That is why I’ve created this blog.
I’m just thrilled that you’ve joined me here. I’ve already moved some of the best content from my old blog, so that this site would be stocked with some great resources for you and your family right from the beginning. I also have a fun freebie that I can’t wait to share with you in the next couple of weeks.
If you want to stay posted on all the great stuff that’s happening here, you can follow me on Facebook and Instagram, and you can sign up for my email newsletter here. Thanks for joining me on this journey as we endeavor to build strong, godly families together.
